Tammy Erickson Associates Names Margaret Schweer Chief Operating Officer and Managing Principal

Schweer Brings Over 20 years of Organizational Leadership Expertise to the Company

May 07, 2012 - Dr. Margaret Schweer has joined Tammy Erickson Associates (TEA) as its chief operating officer and managing principal. The 20-year-veteran of the management and human resources industry will work with the TEA team to build partnerships with industry leaders and create innovative and practical business solutions for today’s workplace.

“We are delighted that Margaret has joined TEA,” said Tammy Erickson, founder and Chief Executive Officer of the management firm. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team and will be an invaluable asset to our client organizations - helping them explore organizational change, leverage new ideas and re-shape their key organizational practices.”

Prior to joining Tammy Erickson Associates, Schweer was a vice president of Moxie Insight (formerly The Concours Group). In addition, she has spent over 20 years in senior human resource roles in the university, hospitality, and consumer products industries.  She has a Ph.D. from Purdue University, with a specialization in organization behavior.

“I am very excited to work with Tammy and the TEA team,” said Schweer.  “I look forward to conducting original research and providing our client organizations with unique service offerings, including our proprietary approaches to enhancing engagement, managing a multigenerational workforce and building enterprise-wide collaborative capacity.”

In her role, Margaret works with clients on organizational issues including human resource strategy, organization design, assessment of leadership talent, business process redesign and providing executive coaching, with a special emphasis in developing job transition solutions to accelerate senior leader learning, assimilation and performance.
