Tim Bevins Joins Tammy Erickson Associates as Director of Research

Bevins’ Work Focuses on Talent and Demographic Topics

May 07, 2012 - Tammy Erickson, the founder and CEO of Tammy Erickson Associates (TEA), has announced that Timothy Bevins has joined the firm as Director of Research. Bevins will direct all primary and secondary research for TEA’s well-known insight reports on organizational and talent management challenges.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Tim over the years and am excited that he has joined the Tammy Erickson Associates team,” said Erickson, a two-time winner of Thinkers50, a premier biennial ranking of global business thinkers, for her seminal work on leadership and generations. “He has an in-depth understanding of the trends underlying today’s critical business issues, including the implications of changing workforce demographics in world and the impact of social media adoption in the workplace. Our research underlies all our work – and Tim will play a vital role in continuing to build TEA’s capabilities.”

TEA, founded by Erickson in 2012, works with companies worldwide to explore and address challenges they are facing in today’s economy. A group of renowned thought leaders provides insights and management techniques to businesses to refocus and reshape their important organizational practices and improve leadership effectiveness.

Prior to joining Tammy Erickson Associates, Bevins managed, created and published dozens of major research projects for companies including Decision Resources, BIS Strategic Decisions (Norwell, MA); Lyra Research (Newtonville, MA); The Concours Group (Watertown, MA); and Moxie Insight (Mountain View, CA). Most recently his work has concentrated on talent and demographic topics, such as ways to engage and motivate employees, talent and executive development, the impact of worldwide demographic changes on companies, and how social media are changing the employment and customer relationships.

“Being a part of Tammy Erickson Associates is a real opportunity for me to lead ground-breaking research that addresses the shifting workforce values on today’s changing organization,” said Bevins. “I look forward to working with Tammy and the rest of the team to uncover new insights critical to today’s corporate leadership.”

Tim’s responsibilities in his new role include oversight and implementation of primary and secondary research and analysis, including survey instrument design and the creation of white papers, reports, and presentations.

Bevins resides in Hollis, NH with wife, Jodie.
